Melissa “MJ” Jenkins-Goodman is a trusted advisor, strategic partner, and respected coach to senior leaders, known for her diplomatic and unwavering advocacy for fair and equitable workplaces. Prior to starting her own consulting firm, she previously served as Chief People & Culture Officer at the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, Vice President of Human Resources at UCAN Chicago, and Vice President of Talent Management at United Way of Metropolitan Chicago.
With more than 20 years of experience, MJ has held progressive HR leadership roles across nonprofit and corporate sectors—including the Shriver Center on Poverty Law, Medline Industries, and the National Safety Council. She holds a BA in Human Resources and Business Management from DePaul University and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
