Bio

Izzy is a second-year Social Work Master’s student at the University of Chicago with a specialization in disrupting poverty, economic inequality, and social exclusion. She is passionate about equitable job opportunities that promote financial stability, as they significantly improve an individual’s well-being and circumstances.

As a New Orleans native, Izzy is familiar with governmental shortcomings and advocating for her community. She is excited to engage in CJC’s mission and dedicated anti-racist framework to learn actionable steps she can take towards a brighter future for the workforce. In her free time, Izzy enjoys film photography, playing rugby, and antique shopping.
