Register Today for the CJC Fall Friendraiser
Registration is now open for the Chicago Jobs Council's Annual Fall Friendraiser taking place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 5:00–8:30 p.m. on the rooftop of Midwest Coast Brewing.
This year, CJC Presents: The Impact Exchange, an evening highlighting Employment Social Enterprises (ESEs) – mission-driven organizations creating employment opportunities for people facing barriers to work.
Meet the organizations creating jobs, strengthening communities, and redefining what workforce development can look like.
This year’s event follows the passage of new legislation, recently signed by Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, that formally recognizes ESEs into state law. The new law allows ESEs greater access to funding and programming opportunities.
More than employers, ESEs invest in their workforce by providing supportive services, skill development, and pathways to long-term economic mobility, demonstrating how business can be a powerful force for equity and opportunity. They don’t just help people prepare for jobs – they create the jobs and pathways to opportunity themselves.
Join CJC as we highlight member organizations already leading the work.
Enjoy an evening of networking, appetizers, local craft beer, and opportunities to give back through our raffle.
Explore CJC's Impact Marketplace, featuring products and services for purchase from some of our ESE providers.
Whether you're a workforce professional, employer, policymaker, community partner, or champion for economic opportunity, we invite you to join us for an evening that showcases innovation, builds connections, and invests in a stronger workforce for all. Your participation supports the Chicago Jobs Council's work to advance equitable workforce policies and practices across Illinois.
Register today and be part of The Impact Exchange.
