Policy Assistant

Andrés joined CJC in August 2007 as an Administrative Assistant for the Opportunity Chicago initiative providing clerical and support services, especially in the areas of meeting coordination and documentation, organization of project files, and preparation and delivery of written correspondence to Opportunity Chicago’s stakeholders. As a Policy Assistant, Andrés continues to provide clerical and support services for the Opportunity Chicago initiative as well as for CJC’s City Team.

Andrés received his Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and two minors in Italian and Media Studies in May 2007 from Virginia Commonwealth University. As an undergraduate, he worked for the University’s student union where his responsibilities included working for the Information Services Division, managing the University’s student unions, and supervising other student employees.
